Assessment of fire risk in photographic studios near Henley

I was asked to review the fire safety of a sprawling two-storey building which comprised an open plan flat at 1st floor level and photographic studio facilities elsewhere. The flat and studios were tenanted. I would not have access to the site and my review would therefore be a paperwork study. I had access to hand-sketched plans and an excellent property-condition report by another consultant which contained many useful photographs of the interior and exterior. I was able to review some structural measures, the means of escape (there were several routes which was a good feature), but had very little information on the fire detection and alarm system and the compartmentation. I also had access to a fire risk assessment report in which there were some anomalous/confusing statements.
